Hi peoples!

Okay, so I know that I should be updating a chapter right now, but I'm swamped and it's going to have to come tomorrow. I can promise it will, though, since I already have it written up, so all that's left is the preliminary editing. At this point I'm not going to make any more promises, but I think I can make it so updates can come on Tuesdays and Fridays around six-ish if I drop some of the other unecessary stuff I'm doing after school and cut back on the TV.

Chapter 3 will be up tomorrow barring some huge electrical failure, and I'm not leaving my room this weekend until chapter four is done, so expect that. Other than that, there's nothing of interest to report.

One more thing, I have received a couple of questions as to why my blog is titled The LeNoir Chronicles. Simple answer: It's part of my pen name, CeeCee LeNoir. It means close to "of the night" in French and is also the correct way of saying my Grandmother's maiden name. I couldn't have thought of a better one myself.

Chapter Two Finally!!!

Wassup, people!

I am so very, very sorry that it took so long for me to post this. My internet is terrible and this website seems to hate me. To reward you for your patience, I'm going to do my best to get chapters 3 and d4one this weekend.

Also, I have finally decided on a title. Dun-dada-duuun! From now on this story will be known as 'Devil's Bargain.' The next step is to start on a title/cover page. Hopefully I can find time for that soon.

Slight Delay

Chapter Two Update

Two thousand words a day is HARD!

Okay, so ch2 is still in progress, but i've got the better part of it done. It should be ready to post by Thursday. Trying to juggle homework and nanowrimo is proving difficult, so I'm thinking I'm gonna have to start actually scheduling things. I'll do my best to get my final edits for Chapter One done a.s.a.p. and get a few thousand more words done for tonight. Hasta mañana.

Chapter One, Editing Done

Hehe, I just realized that rhymed.

Okay, so I've got the preliminary editing done for Chapter One. Chapter Two is looking to be a bit longer so I'll probably have it posted by Thursday. As of right now, I'm up 4,000 words and should get another few hundred done later. Any suggestions or corrections you may have to suggest, PLEASE give them to me. I am aware that I am a terrible editor, and I thank you for your help.

First Chapter Done

People of Earth,

I'm so proud of myself! I finished my first 2,500 words and my first Chapter! It's about 10 pages long and I'll be posting a link to it on here for anyone who's interested when I'm done editing it. As for the story, I'm just now realizing how convoluted it is. I might be cutting out a few portions in the first chapter just so that I can make the story progress more gradually instead of stuffing every chapter full of events. I plan for this to be several chapters long after all! 

I'm already looking into options for getting my material copyrighted once I'm done and I'm considering plans for follow up books. I'm hoping to present an outline and a proposal to publishers for a series of about eight books. I'll make sure to keep everyone posted.

Huh. I have a blog now.

In order to keep an accurate record of my progress and as suggestion by some friends who want to be able to keep updated, this is the first entry of my blog as I work on my nanowrimo entry. For those who are not aware, nanowrimo is a yearly event in which authors or aspiring authors like myself get together to try a near-suicidal method of writing: a one hundred thrity-odd paged novel done in thirty days. Starting tomorrow around midnight I will begin posting to the website which will keep track of my progress. Long story short, this is my way of attempting to get my novel done by using something that does not allow me to procrastiante. I hope to be able to complete this event without completely pulling all my hair out so please wish me luck. 

In case you're interested my novel is about Francine, the Regent a.k.a "Queen" demon of New York City and one of the devils personal advisors. She must juggle homicidal angels, downright demonic subjects and her own personal issues (some of which are life-threatening). She allies herself with a trigger-happy angel named Tom to accomplish a strange task: finding a girl who isn't missing. 

Anyways, this novel will be a hard journey for me, but I hope to complete it, and I appreciate the help of anyone who supports me in this endeavor. Thanks for listening to my rambling, and progress updates start tomorrow. Thank you.
